  • Definition of economics and basic economic concepts like scarcity and choice; economic growth and development; market structure, conduct and performance; the circular flow of income; national income measurements and determinants; demand and supply; concept of elasticity
  • The structure of the Ugandan economy
  • National income, money and banking, exchange rate determinants, devaluation and exchange policies and inflation and unemployment.
