Course Description & Objectives: 

The course is a complementary part to the theoretical knowledge acquired by the student in other courses. It provides the student with an opportunity to have live experiences with the various tools used and activities carried out in workshops. This arms the student with skills for model making and it improves a student’s perception of space and its functional requirements.

Learning Outcomes: 

On completing this course the student should be able to appreciate and reproduce drawings of existingbuildings and use the simple tools in a technical workshop to carry out tasks such as welding, carpentry etcto create forms in timber, steel and other construction materials.
