This course covers the histology, gross anatomy and normal functioning of the upper and lower respiratory tract including the pleural cavity.

At the end of the course students should be able to:
Describe the structure and function of the cardiovascular and respiratory system
Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system
Skills in histologically and cytologically examining the cardiovascular system
