Course Description & Objectives: 

Diagnosis and management of soil problems related to soil physical properties, alleviation of soil compaction and consolidation, Soil hydrology- hydrological processes, Optimisation of water flow in saturated and unsaturated soils. Field water regime-water budgeting identification of major water loss pathways and water loss mitigation.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Objectives:

  • To prepare students with foundational knowledge in soil physics to apply it to real life soil-water problems related to soil physical aspects.
