Course Description & Objectives: 

The course demonstrates to students sustainable use and management of wetland resources. Students acquire knowledge and skills on approaches to designing and implementing socio-economic, policy and ecological measures to sustainably manage wetland resources.

Learning Outcomes: 
  • Students classify wetlands and wetland resources
  • Students suggest, recommend, design, implement and evaluate different socio-economic, policy and ecological based approaches for particular wetlands and wetland resources.
  • Students ably originate/design socio-economic, policy and ecological studies on wetlands and wetland resources.
