Course Description & Objectives: 

This course provides a firm basis for the construction of accurate cast alloy/ metallo-ceramic components, required during restorative techniques.

Learning Outcomes: 
  •  Develop conceptual and practical competencies in the construction of alloy and metallo-ceramic restorations.
  •  Describe  the principles involved in their design and construction.
  •  Describe  the various treatments for damaged teeth.
  • Discuss  the effect of occlusal forces to restorative design.
  •  Discuss the indications for, and the techniques used, to construct a wide range of   conservative cast restorations
