Course Description & Objectives:

This course provides a firm basis for the construction of accurate cast alloy/ metallo-ceramic components, required during restorative techniques.

Learning Outcomes:

Develop conceptual and practical competencies in the construction of alloy and metallo-ceramic restorations.
Describe the principles involved in their design and construction.
Describe the various treatments for damaged teeth.
Discuss the effect of occlusal forces to restorative design.
Discuss the indications for, and the techniques used, to construct a wide range of conservative cast restorations
