This course will cover photosynthetic diversity, processes utilizing various metabolites, synthesis of non-carbohydrates, synthesis of secondary plant products, regulation of cellular metabolism.

describe cellular processes of utilizing chemical energy in various metabolites,
explain how glucose is synthesized from non carbohydrate sources,
describe lipid metabolism,
describe the biosynthetic pathways of secondary metabolites in plants,
