Course Description & Objectives: 

Individual problems researched and executed indicating mastery and growth of the individual’s approach to the drawing media, surfaces, techniques and concepts.

Learning Outcomes: 
  • This course will enable students to look at drawing as a research through studio projects with emphasis to developing various visual ideas concepts and skills to be used in individual field assignments.
  • Upon completion of this course, students should be able to transform written text, oral story or observational experiences into self explanatory illustrations and well equipped with problem solving approaches i.e. self discovery in mastery of drawing techniques.
  • The students should be able to execute a well taken piece of thawing as an end in itself or for the purpose of communication to the public.
  • Concepts and skills shall be explored in studio arranged life drawing, portraiture, animal and human anatomy in motion.
