The course will consist of basic principles of economics and their application in the sustainable utilization of plant and animal resources.  

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course the students should be able to:

  • describe the basic principles of economics
  • apply economic principles in utilization of plant and animal resources
  • demonstrate and relate the role of economics in conservation of resources
  • apply appropriate tools of economic analysis to utilisation of plant resources
