Course Description & Objectives: 

The course explores the relationship between education and employment as well as the school –to-work transitions. The course is designed to enable students acquire a working knowledge and understanding of the intricate relationships between the world of schools and the world of work. 

Learning Outcomes: 

The course should enable students to;

  1. Critically analyze the relationship of the labour market theories to education
  2. Analyze the relationship between education and the labour marker
  3. Demonstrate an understand of the causes and effects of brain drain
