Course Description & Objectives: 

The course peruses an integrated approach to learning the language through using it, in meaningful contexts, while introducing basic Arabic grammatical structures and imparting basic orthography principles and rules.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Objectives:To offer learners thorough grounding in all language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It emphasises listening, reading texts and speaking, in addition to initial exposure to Arabic orthography principles and rules.

Learning Outcomes: 
  • Students who successfully complete this part of the course will be able to understand and actively participate in simple conversations involving basic practical and social situations
