Course Description & Objectives: 

This course covers human development from conception to birth.  It will expose students to pre-fertilization state, fertilization, embryonic and fetal periods, including development anomalies.  It will also expose students to primatology and comparative anatomy of human and primates as well as theories of human evolution.

Learning Outcomes: 
  • At the end of the course students will be able to appreciate human development, challenges and risks to development as well as comparative anatomy..
