- Theories of entrepreneurial development
- The firm and organization of business enterprise
- Settings for entrepreneurship (private and public sectors, large, medium, small and micro-enterprises and the relations between them.
- The political economy of entrepreneurship:- Economic and social roots of entrepreneurship (class/group and characteristics of entrepreneurs); cultural, entrepreneurship and social capital; the political environment, entrepreneurship and the policy regime (government reforms in the private sector)
