Course Description & Objectives:

In this course, the students will learn the principles and methods of epidemiology and biostatistics. They will also acquire knowledge and skills that will enable them to design, conduct and disseminate health research.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course the student will be able to:

Describe and apply principles and methods of epidemiology
Describe and apply principles and methods of biostatistics
Design a research proposal according to Makerere University guidelines.
