Course Description & Objectives: 

The aims of this course are to:

  • Equip students with basic knowledge on the principles and methods of epidemiology
  • Equip the students with skills to apply epidemiology to control health problems
  • In this course, the students will learn the principles and methods of epidemiology and its application to the control of health problems.

 

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course the student should be able to:

  1. Describe the principles and methods of epidemiology.
  2. Demonstrate competency in applying the principles and methods of epidemiology to the control of health problems
