ETHNOBOTANY

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

• Appreciate the Ethnobotanical  concepts, principles and practices
• Undertake Ethnobotanical surveys
• Apply and blend the traditional/indigenous knowledge with western scientific knowledge in conservation and management of plant resources.
• Apply the ethics, including intellectual property rights in the handling and promoting plant resources using indigenous knowledge about plants
