Course Description & Objectives:

In this course, the students will learn the principles and methods of clinical epidemiology and their application to problems encountered in clinical medicine.

The aims of this course are to:

Equip students with basic knowledge on the principles and methods of clinical epidemiology
Equip the students with skills to apply clinical epidemiology to problems encountered in clinical medicine.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course the student should be able to:

Describe the principles and methods of clinical epidemiology.
Demonstrate competency in applying the principles and methods of clinical epidemiology to the control of health problems in clinical medicine.
