This course provides an overview of management and aspects of business organizational environment. It covers, among others, theory, process and practice of the fundamental management functions; business environment; the contemporary issues in management; and conflict management and resolution. 

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon completing this course the student should be able to:

  • Explain the role of planning, organizing, leading and controlling in management.
  • Recognize the role of management in modern organizations.
  • Appreciate the importance of organizational goal setting.
