Course Description & Objectives: 

This course explores the nature of human resource development and management in education, the organizational environment in which the professionals in education work, and the current and anticipated issues facing the field of human resource management in education. The course focuses on professional resources in schools and higher education. It is the intention of the course to provide a critical outlook to the institutional leaders to design leadership methods that meet the social development and academic needs of the professionals in education. 

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course the students should be able to: 

  • To give a broad overview of major features of human resource management.
  • To examines issues from the contrasting perspectives of management, employees and public policy.
  • To assess various aspects of human resource management in an international perspective
  • Ad to have a sound knowledge and critical awareness of issues of theoretical and practical relevance.
