Computer and communication technologies are key features in information management for data capture, storage, processing, retrieval and dissemination. Thus, training at senior level is required to enable learners understand ICTs and their application in information management.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Objective:

  • To enable learners acquire knowledge that leads to understanding of Information and communication technologies and its application in information management.
Learning Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be expected to:

  • Develop an understanding of the range of Information and Communication Technologies applicable in information work
  • Explain the development and applications of ICTs for information management
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply ICTs in information Management
