Course Description & Objectives: 

This course covers the practical aspects of the law of Real Property in Uganda. The course content builds on the contents covered in the course on Foundations of Land Law. It covers registration and other transactions relating to land.

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Articulate all the statutory procedures relating conveyance of land in Uganda
  2. Know the relevant documents in conveyancing of land.
  3. Know how to solve problems that arise in the conveyance and use of land as security.
