  • The aim of this course is to ground in strategies, standards, tools and techniques in planning, implementing, managing and maintaining modern Library and Information institutions

On completion of the course, students should be able to:

  • Explain the concepts, theories and foundations of management in LIS institutions
  • Discuss key issues in the management of LIS institutions.
  • Explain the principles and functions of management
  • Formulate strategies, plans and policies for LIS institutions
