This course reviews the rock physics and relates it to specific reservoir applications.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

Acquire and process data concerning boreholes.
Relate reservoir parameters to seismic parameters in order to attain optimum borehole parameters.
Determine adequate pore pressures for exploration.
