Course Description & Objectives:

This course introduces students to the basics of developing and writing an acceptable scientific project proposal and how to prepare and deliver thorough and timely reports to stakeholders regarding particular work.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course the student should be able to:

Accurately formulate research ideas following a literature search
Compile a focused project/research proposal with clear and achievable objectives
Produce a realistic budget as regards both time and resources
Correctly layout and produce summarized and detailed scientific reports
