This course introduces students to seismic signals and seismic noise and their interpretations. 

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course the students should be able to:

  • Distinguish between seismic signals and seismic noise.
  • Acquire and process signals by different methods.
  • Interpret seismic data.
  • Carry out some mapping and draw simple structure maps.
