Course Description & Objectives: 

This course introduces the trainees to pathology applied to the solution of clinical problems, especially the use of laboratory methods in clinical diagnosis and treatment of conditions causing or resulting from morbid anatomic or functional changes in the structures of the mouth and surrounding tissues as well as as the application of medical jurisprudence. 

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course the trainee should be able to apply the principles of pathology for clinical diagnosis and treatment of Oral surgical conditions and understand how to examine wounds and injuries  to establish the causes or be able to use dental methods in identifying unknown bodies.
