This course is designed to impart knowledge of diagnosis and skills of treatment of communicable and tropical diseases in humans.

By the end of this course the student should be well prepared:

To manage communicable and tropical diseases in humans
To appropriately select drugs for the management and treatment of communicable and tropical diseases
To recommend and promote rational, safe, and effective use of medicines in treatment of communicable and tropical diseases in humans
To effectively apply the skills of Pharmacovigilance in the community
