- Students should demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of voice disorders in children and adults
- Students will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of clients with a laryngectomy
Content:
- Review of relevant anatomy (respiratory, phonatory and resonatory systems)
- Describing causes and types of voice disorders, prevention of this disability
- Assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of clients with a laryngectomy or voice disorder
