This course focuses on the revolutionary movements in European Art with emphasis on Baroque, Rococo and contemporary trends.

Learning Outcomes:

Students introduced to the various Western art movements (isms) which underpin the study of history of art.
Students informed about the impact of the Western art movements on contemporary art and design practice
Students made aware of the famous artists who played a key-role in the formation of these various movements
