This course involves the use, maintenance, adjustment, calibration, and repair of the equipment. Emphasis on primary and secondary tillage, planting, chemical application, and harvesting equipment. The selection and operation of both machinery and tractors will be practiced. Safety will be stressed throughout

The course covers statistical techniques for designing experiments, analysing and interpreting research data.  It focuses on experimental design and analysis of variance for Completely Randomized Design, Randomized Complete Block Design, Latin Square Design, including simple factorial experiments and split plots. It presents techniques for multiple linear regression and contingency tables.
