COMPARATIVE HISTORY, PHILOSOPHICAL AND ETHICAL ISSUES IN EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATIONS

The course covers a wide range of educational issues in comparative education, History of Education, philosophical and ethical issues in education.  This course is designed to acquaint teacher trainees with the relevant theories, historical developments and contemporary issues in education. Through this course students are exposed to the changing trends and developments in education, philosophical approaches to education and comparison of educational systems, policies and practices.
