The degree programme is committed to produce palliative care experts from a range of health disciplines who can take on clinical, service development, educational, managerial and research and development roles to build on palliative care across the region in both the private and public sectors. It is also designed to reinforce the existing prescribing certificate and diploma courses. Indeed those holding a palliative care certificate or diploma would be a source of potential applicants for the degree programme.
