The Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry (DCP) is an international benchmark qualification from RCPI. It recognises your knowledge and skills in providing psychiatric care in general practice and can help you progress your career.
The exam assesses your ability to provide good primary care, to consider relevant information and arrive at judgements on investigations, diagnosis and management. It focuses on common psychiatric conditions in the primary care setting.
The Diploma is suitable for vocational trainees, who are interested in taking the MRC Psych at a later stage.
