[MA (EPP)] is a specialized and innovative programme designed to prepare graduates for work in economic policy evaluation and planning in both the public and private sectors. The MA (EPP) program was initially a UNDP-funded capacity building project which ended in 1996. From 1997 the program continued as a private program in which most students sponsor their studies using either individual or employer resources.
a)Applicants should have a good first degree in Economics or with a major in Economics(3.1.1) or its equivalent.
candidates wit a lower second degree in Economics(3.2.2) and a related field may also be considered provided they have atleast 2 years relevant working experience.
b)Applicants with a good first degree in commerce or statistics from a recognised university .The MA(DPP degree programme may be obtained by fulfilling requirements for course work and a dissertation(plan A) for the research oriented candidate or more extended coursework and research project(plan B) for the broader knowledge based only candidate.
