This programmes' academic instruction of a culturally competent specialist frontline doctor competent to manage all common and undifferentiated conditions; manage most emergencies and rare but important conditions; recognize, stabilize and refer appropriately all those cases that need more complex investigations and treatment; manage resources for health; promote health; prevent disease and provide palliation in an expert, person-centred and family-oriented continuum of care while providing leadership to health care teams. This doctor, will adopt the practice of life-long learning, life-long teaching and professional conduct while practicing Family Medicine and Community- Oriented Primary Health Care. Eligibility:A good first degree inmedicine or its equivalent and applicants must havecompleted the two two year probation period and must have a good record and working experience preferably from an upcountry hospital.
