Department of Pharmacy, Makerere University pioneered Pharmacy training in Uganda. It currently trains manpower of highest caliber to cope with current national and international pharmaceutical needs and to stimulate reforms, spearheading research in the pharmaceutical sector and promoting continuing education among pharmaceutical personnel.
