Course Description & Objectives: 

This course is designed to present the comprehensive science of management relevant to provision of pharmaceutical services with particular reference to developing countries; and to provide a theoretical and practical study on aspects of the communication process that relate to medicines usage and handling that is relevant to developing countries. 

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course the graduate should be able:

  1. To manage small working units within the organization
  2. To design, execute and manage projects in the field of pharmaceuticals
  3. To apply knowledge about documentation and archiving systems (especially in relation with quality management and certification)
  4. To write an annual plan of activities, and to write an annual report
  5. To apply the skills of communication to the management of pharmaceuticals
