Course Description & Objectives: 

This course covers the etiology, epidemiology and pathology of infectious diseases and the diagnostic techniques. The clinical pharmacology of antimicrobial agents is discussed.

  2. To describe the pathological and clinical features of infectious diseases
  3. To describe laboratory and imaging techniques used in the diagnosis of infectious diseases
