  •  At the end of the course the student should have acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for provision of integrated community health services.
  • The student should be able to demonstrate effective communication and participate in the delivery of priority integrated community health services.

  • Definitions of PHC and community based health care
  •  Components of PHC; key health messages, common diseases and conditions
  • Community mobilisation and sensitisation in PHC, community diagnosis.
  • Communication skills, methods of communication, reading and writing skills, interpretation of verbs/words, writing official letters, report writing
