The course is designed to prepare students to carry out research. It equips them with knowledge and skills of identifying and formulating a research problem, developing objectives, reviewing literature, identifying appropriate research methods, collecting, analyzing and presenting data

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Describe the concept, principles and importance of research in library and information science.
  • Identify and formulate research problems in library and information science.
