Course Description & Objectives: 
  1. An introduction to hospitality services available in East Africa such as hotels, lodges, hostels, guesthouses, tented camps, resorts and other private catering facilities. 
  2. Objectives of hospitality services; profits; sales, great satisfaction, enhancing the image of accommodation facilities front and back of the house. 
  3. Service standards and classification criteria of hotels. 
  4. Additional services including recreation game viewing, laundry, safety and security, medical, special requirements of the handicapped.
