Course Description & Objectives:

This course exposes learners to the methods and techniques used in the various types of drawing (observation drawing). The course takes learners through advanced study of nature and the living person by experimenting with different conditions of light and shade in relation to the different elements and principles of art and design. Learners progress with continued studies of media and supports in drawing.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, learners should be in position to

Express his/her skills in drawing with different materials.
Guide his/her learners in drawing different subject matter in still life.
Select suitable objects for a given purpose in drawing for the different disciplines in art and craft.
