Course Description & Objectives:

Specialized works based on individual creative expression using motifs for industrial reproduction and artistic statements. In this course, students are guided through a series of projects that are aimed to stimulate and inspire their thinking but also putting into consideration, the trends in the textile industry both nationally and internationally.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, students shall be able to:

To enable students to creatively employ a wide range of skills, media and technologies in order to come up with innovative, unique and original textile designs for upholstery
Experiment independently and carry out project-based research in textile design using selected techniques and media.
Come up with innovative projects that contribute to new knowledge in the field of textile design.
