This course will constitute as re-examination of some fo the central issues in the analysis, distribution, mediation and reception of African Poetry. The course will explore the phases and trends in African Poetry in general and it will try to cover all regions of Africa. The aim of this course is to equip the students with an overall understanding of the development of African poetry in style, theme and Vision.
