The course of Building Technology and Services I is important to introduce the student to the buildingtrade, the construction methods used and the key players in the building process. It deals with thefundamental aspects of building technology.Objectives/aim:To introduce the student to:• Building elements• Contemporary local construction methods and materials.• Building trades and associated tools and skills
On completing this course the student should be able to• Know the key building elements, their use and requirements• Specify the building materials and their application in the construction of a simple building.
