Course Description & Objectives: 

The course helps acquaint the student with the building techniques and skills. The student of architecturehas to learn how buildings are constructed and the requirements for the use of materials for construction.The course is also important for getting knowledge and skills of dealing with the building services in aconstruction.Objectives/aim• To develop an analytical and critical understanding of the importance of technical design data and building construction knowledge and requirements in the building construction domain. • To design and exhibit an understanding of the provision of services in a low-rise building.• To consolidate and advance the material covered in the Design Portfolio courses.    

Learning Outcomes: 

On completing this course the student should be able to critically utilize technical data and buildingtechnology knowledge to resolve building challenges of plumbing and construction.
