CONSTITUTIONALISM,REGIONAL ,and GLOBAL POLITICAL CHALLENGES IN EDUCATION

To introduce the students to general changes in the education sector driven by national, regional and international policies. The challenges of coping with the new ideas driven by developments and changes in people’s ways of life and cultures                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Objectives for this course are:

1. To examine the processes of constitutionalisation.
2. To take a critique of the various constitutions and to look at the rationale for formulating them.
3. To examine the conflicts, resolutions and hence the necessity for amendments in Ugandans constitutions.
4. To take a comparative outlook on constitutions of the neighbouring countries as case studies.
