Course Description & Objectives:

The course explores current issues in education institutions. It mainly focuses on the different charters, laws, statues and Acts of education in Uganda and how they can be applied in the governance of Education institutions. The students will be able to use the knowledge acquired in the daily management of educational institutions.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course students should be able to;

Identify the main governance issues in educational system in Uganda
Analyze contemporary issues in relation to managing/administering educational institutions
Apply the knowledge acquired in the management of schools and higher education
