Course Description & Objectives: 

A study of construction costs, including analysis of field records, job cost accounting, job cost control, and determination of unit prices.  A study of project-level cost control and construction economics.  Major emphasis in placed on labor cost control, project cash flow, and analysis of capital expenditures.  Other topics include conceptual estimating, variance analysis, equipment, material and subcontract cost control; construction claims; and change orders.
