This course provides an introduction to development economics.  Topics included theories of development, historic growth and contemporary development, growth, patterns of growth, poverty and income distribution.  Population growth and development, unemployment.Urbanization and migration, education, development and economics, agricultural transformation and the environment.Trade and trade policy, developing country debt and stabilization.Foreign finance, investment, and aid.
